Weekly journal - Week 5

I've got the feedback on my paperwork, and started to some edits to my evaluation as well as putting some more detail on my storyboards.

I finishe editing the music video all together on wednesday and I got good feedback on it, so I uploaded the video to my youtube account.

Weekly journal - Week 4

I finished filming my music video and finished editing it as well. I also managed to produce a draft of my evaluation ready to show my lecturer on wednesday.

FMP - Production diary (entry 3)

Okay last week was the last week of filming for my Final major project, and I managed to get all the footage I needed. I filmed Debbie's scenes in a park not far from college, we were meant to film at the arboretum but she was running very late and we didn't have time to get there. After filming a couple of scenes in the park we then went to a street and filmed her last scenes.

On friday I went and edited all the footage I had and managed to finish editing the majority of the music video.

Weekly Journal - Weeks 1 to 3

Okay I have to do a journal as well as a diary, and the journal focuses on all aspects of the FMP while the production diary only focuses on the production of my Music video.

Week 1 - I had to re work my idea a bit because the actors that I was going to be using in my music video fell out, so I decided that I would film their scene's separately. I started working on my Prezi to show to my tutor.

Week 2 - I started working on my storyboards for my music video and I also started filming the music video in the TV studio

Week 3 - I started editing my music video together.

FMP - Production diary (Entry 2)

Okay, well after the first week of filming I was kind of hoping to have the filming all done by this week but unfortunately my mate decided that she couldn't do the filming this week. I was able to do some of the editing for my music video on Wednesday and I've almost finished editing all the scenes that include me, and all I have to edit is the table out of the shot.

I will be finishing filming on Monday hopefully, and then edit on Tuesday so I should be able to finish my FMP by the middle of this week.

Music video - Production Shedule

This post is about my production shedule for my music video, and I'm hoping that I will be finished with my music video by the end of this week.

May 4th 2012 - Filming my scene's in the Tv Studio

May 9th 2012 - Start editing my music video together, and show it to my Tutor to for my tutorial at 2.45.

May 14th 2012 - Filming Debbie's scene's in the street near my college and also in the arboretum.

May 15th 2012 - Finish editing my music video and have it ready to hand in.

That's my production schedule, I hope this all goes to plan and I don't have any setbacks.

FMP - Production diary (entry 1)

Okay so it's been a while since i last posted, but over the next few weeks i will be posting more frequently, and this is all to do with my final assignment at college. I'm doing a music video for my final assignment, which i chose to do myself, I chose a song by my favourite artist Britney spears and it's one of the songs that was just a demo. The song i've chosen is called Strangest love.

I started filming my music video today and filmed my scenes in the TV studio, I had to mime the words to the song while the song played, and this will make it easier to edit the music video together and get the song in sync with me singing.

I shot several different versions, with me sitting on a table, sitting on the floor and standing, the lighting was used to added softer effect, and the colour scheme was pink and green. The next scene's I need to film are of my friend who will be the heartbroken girl, and the narrative of the song is about her.
